On Wednesday, March 26th, OTS participated in an info event organized by the SYNERGiNN European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), hosted at the amphitheater of the Municipal Library of Kozani. The event brought together local businesses and public sector organizations to explore how the Hub’s services can support their journey toward digital transformation.
As a proud member of the SYNERGiNN consortium, OTS had the opportunity to present a selection of the Hub’s offerings, showcasing how cutting-edge digital technologies can be effectively leveraged by both private and public organizations.
During the event, the SYNERGiNN team shared the Hub’s vision, service portfolio, and the benefits available to participating organizations. Real-world application examples helped demonstrate the tangible value of these services. Special focus was placed on how businesses and public sector stakeholders can collaborate with SYNERGiNN to accelerate their digital maturity.
In addition, partners and organizations already working with the Hub shared their experiences, emphasizing the practical impact of their collaboration and the digital upgrades achieved so far.
An open discussion followed, providing an excellent opportunity for networking, idea exchange, and the formation of potential new partnerships.
The event was coordinated by Assoc. Professor Nikolaos Ploskas from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Prof. Stergios Maropoulos, Vice-Rector for Research and Lifelong Learning, as well as by representatives of the Region of Western Macedonia: Mr. Anastasios Rafailidis, Deputy Regional Governor for Transparency, E-Governance, and Digital Transformation, and Mr. Nikolaos Lyssaridis, Deputy Regional Governor for Entrepreneurship and Transport.
At OTS, we are excited to contribute to the Hub’s mission of enabling a smarter, more connected digital future for the region.
