Another European project in which OTS has proudly participated, is the research and materialization of the SWAN platform (acronym of “a digital Solid Waste reuse plAtform for BalkaN”).

The SWAN platform is a complete suite of on-line tools for the evaluation of the industrial waste, with the purpose of their re-use.

The platform is in production mode and is being implemented from industries in Greece, Bulgaria, Albania and Cyprus. The specific project has been presented in an article in the Sage Journals -Waste Management and Research, in which Dr George Apostolopoulos is a co-author, representing OTS.
